Morgan starred in an informational film Safe Sex for Men and Women that addressed AIDS prevention and education. The proceeds went to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan serves as a participant of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is a member of the entertainment industry's AIDS Task Team. Morgan has also led several other fundraising efforts to fight AIDS and has testified before a particular Congressional Committee regarding AIDS Education. Morgan is on the Board of Governors of APLA as well as the Board of Directors of Amfar. C. Everett Koop's former deputy surgeon general requested her occasionally to sub for him during AIDS awareness programs. Additionally, she was host of a AIDS Awareness Special with Steve Bell. She's appeared on Nightline with Ted Koppell regarding AIDS. Morgan has received an Emmy nomination for her special episode of Murphy Brown written for her by Diane English. Morgan was co-starring in the ABC show Your Money or Your Wife with Joan Rivers. The summer began with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The production, Von Zerneck/Sertner also featured Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. The next time she appeared, Harmony Gold produced Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady together with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan also appeared in the film, a psychological thriller that was produced by USA Network. The film received one of the most impressive ratings to date.
